Shinrin Yoku or Forest Bathing: An Invitation to Slow Down

Step away from the noise of everyday life and spend an hour reconnecting with yourself and the natural world through the gentle practice of forest bathing. This guided experience invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, notice your surroundings, and open your senses to the sights, sounds, textures, and rhythms of the forest. There is nothing to accomplish and no experience necessary, just an open mind, an open heart, and a willingness to be present.

Lee Ann Freitas is a Certified Forest Therapist, horticulturist, and a hardcore advocate for all things nature. She creates a welcoming and peaceful environment for participants to slow down, connect with nature, and be present.

Class size is limited to 15 participants to create an intimate and peaceful experience.

What to Bring

  • Comfortable clothing that also provides protection from insects, including ticks and mosquitoes
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Water bottle
  • Journal
