Join or Die is a powerful documentary about why joining a club could be the key to saving democracy — and why America’s future may depend on it.
Directed by Rebecca Davis and Pete Davis, Join or Die follows the story of Harvard political scientist Robert Putnam, whose groundbreaking “Bowling Alone” research revealed the deep decline in American community life. This film explores what that means for our civic health — and how we can rebuild.

Local nonprofits, civic groups, and community organizations are invited to table and share volunteer opportunities, organization and club memberships, and other ways for people to get involved.
